LeeAnn Kreischer, Wife of the Party

LeeAnn Kreischer

Born in rural Georgia, LeeAnn grew up in five trailer parks with a mother who was massively insane and a father who is about as redneck as he can get. Known as “the best frog gigger in town”, her first job in high school was driving a tow truck after cheerleading practice. She moved to New York City in the early ’90s where she started acting and writing. LeeAnn then moved to Los Angeles, and continued writing - 8 RomCom screenplays, one of which was made into a movie - The Biggest Fan. It’s terrible, so don’t watch it.

In the early 2000’s, she met a very thin, rather attractive, stand-up comedian named Bert Kreischer. They had kids and after years of making biscuits on a daily basis, he blew up to the size of a balloon. She runs everything. Oh, and she has a podcast, Wife of the Party. Most people say it’s better than her husband’s. She has for many years been a creative collaborator with Bert, producing his stand-up specials, and is now COO of their production company, BertyBoy Productions.
